If your baby is speech delayed, signing videos can be an extra tool, and they will help. But videos can't replace affection, and the natural world.

 

what ever baby sign language dvd you will decide to buy, you will see that the educational baby sign language dvds that are “designed for your baby” are well-produced somehow entertaining, but very thin on the number of signs, if you want more signs you will need to buy another dvd, and another one…

So our advice is to buy ASL signing dvds or video programs. You are teaching the baby a foreign language, why not chose one that is recognized as one, and that can help later in life.

Don't cheat your self believing that your child will get his PhD by the age of 12, because of signing, unless the child is really gifted it will not happen.

The IQ levels grow naturally as an after effect, but don't expect what is not there.
